About us
Thirty years on Daniels Run.
Rich and Susan Blank have raised cattle on this land, carved out by Daniels Run Creek, for over three decades. Vistamont Farms has grown over the years but is still a simple and local operation.

Why buy beef from a farm
Better beef
You get to eat better beef. Feed your family beef you can trust: no hormones, no antibiotics, and our animals are always on pasture.
Aged and sealed
Every animal hangs ten days in a 38 degree cooler for tenderness, then each cut is vacuum packaged and labeled. No mystery beef: what the label says is what is in the bag.
By the pound, no commitment
No quarter or half to store. Pick the steaks, roasts or ground beef you want for the week at Cattleman’s Pantry and go home.
Know your farmer, know your food
We invite everyone to come visit. If you don’t know how your food is grown, there’s a good chance you are not buying what you think you’re buying.

Cattleman’s Pantry
Our beef is in the freezer at Cattleman’s Pantry, the family’s general store on historic Route 40, a mile over the hill from the farm. Pick what you need by the pound. Prices are posted in the store and change with the market, so we don’t print them here.
